SHA-256 checksum

[SHA-256 CHECKSUM — 64 HEX CHARACTERS]

Every field above is a placeholder until a signed release build exists. Nothing on this page may go public with a made-up version number or an invented checksum — a checksum that does not match the file it describes teaches players to ignore checksums, which is worse than publishing none.

Verify it

Check the file is the file we built.

The checksum is a fingerprint of the exact bytes we published. If your download produces the same fingerprint, it was not modified in transit or replaced by anyone in between. This takes about thirty seconds and it is the single best thing you can do before installing anything from outside a store.

On the phone

Install Termux from F-Droid, then run:

sha256sum /sdcard/Download/casino.apk.apk

Or use any "hash" or "checksum" utility from the store — it needs to produce SHA-256.

On Windows

certutil -hashfile casino.apk.apk SHA256

On macOS or Linux

shasum -a 256 casino.apk.apk

Compare the result with the checksum above. It should match character for character, ignoring case. If it does not match, delete the file and do not install it — then tell support, because a mismatch means either a corrupt download or something considerably worse.

Installing

Android will warn you. Here is every screen, in order.

Android blocks apps that did not come from a store by default. This is a sensible protection and we are not going to pretend it is not happening — you are about to override it deliberately, so you should know exactly what you are overriding.

  1. Your browser asks whether to keep the file

Chrome may say "This type of file can harm your device" and offer Cancel or Download anyway. That message appears for every APK ever downloaded, safe or not — it is about the file type, not this file. Choose to keep it, then verify the checksum above before you open it.

  2. Android asks for permission to install unknown apps

Tap the downloaded file. Android will say something like "For your security, your phone is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source", with a Settings button. Tap Settings and turn on Allow from this source for the app you downloaded with — usually Chrome or Files.

This grants the permission to that browser, not to us. It is worth turning it back off afterwards.

  3. Play Protect may say the app is unsafe or unrecognised

Google scans apps installed from outside the Play Store. It commonly shows "Unsafe app blocked" or "App scan recommended" for any app it has not seen before, which includes every new APK from every developer. Tap More details, then Install anyway.

We are telling you to click past a security warning, so you should hold us to the checksum above. That is the whole point of publishing it: it is the part of this process you can verify yourself instead of taking our word for it.

  4. The install screen

Tap Install, wait a few seconds, and open the app. There is no separate setup step — you land on the account screen.

  5. Updates

There is no store to push updates, so the app checks for a new version itself and tells you when one is available. [TO BE COMPLETED: CONFIRM SELF-UPDATE BEHAVIOUR IN THE SHIPPING BUILD] Every update is published here too, with its own checksum.

If it will not install

Four failures, and what each one means.

"App not installed"

Usually an older copy already on the phone that was signed differently, or not enough free storage. Uninstall the old copy, free some space, and try again.

"There was a problem parsing the package"

The download is incomplete or corrupt, or your Android version is below Android 7.0 (API 24). Check the checksum — a mismatch confirms a bad download. Download it again on a stable connection.

The download keeps failing

The APK is 33.5 MB, which is a long download on a weak signal. Use Wi-Fi if you have it, and let the browser resume rather than restarting.

I am on an iPhone

There is no APK for iOS and no App Store listing. Open play.casino.devtest9.xyz in Safari instead — the same games, the same account, running in the browser. Add it to your home screen and it behaves much like an app.

Before you install

One last honest note.

This app takes real money and most of what is in it is designed to hold about 3% of everything you stake. If you have not read Responsible play, read it before you deposit rather than after. It is the page on this site we would most like you to actually finish.
